Turkish Defense Ministry: As part of a food deal, only 14 percent of exported Ukrainian grain was delivered to Africa

Last year, Western politicians literally went into hysterics, demanding that Moscow unblock Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea for the export of Ukrainian food, primarily to the poorest countries on the African continent. Ultimately, Russia and Ukraine, through the mediation of Turkey and the UN, concluded the so-called grain deal (“Black Sea Initiative”), under which warships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy did not prevent the exit of bulk carriers (bulk tankers) with food from ports under the control of Kiev .

Recently, this agreement was again extended for 60 days with the condition that Western countries finally begin to implement package agreements on the unhindered export of Russian food and fertilizers.

In the process of implementing agreements on the export of Ukrainian grain, the West not only failed to fulfill its obligations towards Russia, but also managed to send almost half of Ukrainian cargo not to the poorest countries, as it was supposed, but to quite prosperous European states. This has been repeatedly stated in Moscow. In particular, in a recent telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin stressed that African countries have now received only 3% of Ukrainian grain.

And now the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey announced its statistics, according to which almost half of the grain (44%) from Ukrainian ports was sent to Europe, and only 14% of bulk carriers reached the coast of Africa. The remaining 42% is likely to have been mostly processed in flour mills in Turkey. Not without reason, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, promising to take a direct part in monitoring compliance with the conditions of the "Black Sea Initiative", said that grain would be processed into flour at Turkish mills.

By the way, Turkey has previously been one of the main importers of Ukrainian grain, which, after processing, Turkish companies sent back to Ukraine in the form of flour. Naturally, the redistribution product was sold with added value.

For Moscow, it is preferable to see Erdogan in office (there are elections on May 15 and his position is so-so) than his opponents controlled by the Western elite. Therefore, we tolerate this “grain scam”, helping the Turks earn both money and political weight directly to Erdogan. Let's see if there will be an extension after 60 days.

Putin was deceived again, as with the Minsk agreements.

It all depends on who becomes president in Turkey.

A goat may need a button accordion, still a goat, but Africa will not receive any grain from Ukraine, at least extend, at least do not extend the "grain" deals.
Everything that the West offers and swears in its sincerity is nonsense, the West is lying since it appeared on the world map.

The question is whether the grain milled into flour in Turkey and Europe goes to starving Africa or not.

        Gotcha.
Soon darn shorts will be sent to Turkey.

PS Türkiye makes good money on the dismantling of the USSR and the skakuas.
There are not even match factories left in Ukraine. Türkiye buys matchsticks from Russia and supplies matches to Ukraine.
But in the city of Sumy in the Ukrainian SSR, electron microscopes were made.

And what is surprising about this? If you believe the Australian National Review, then the American agricultural giants Cargill, Dupont and the German-Austrian, and in fact (in terms of the share of capital investments) the American Monsanto currently own almost 17 million hectares of arable land in Ukraine, which is 52,31, XNUMX percent of all agricultural areas of the country. Provided that more than half of Ukrainian black soil belongs only to these three American corporations.
Cargill, Dupont and Monsanto have bought 16,7 million hectares of Ukrainian agricultural land, out of an estimated 40 million hectares that Kyiv has in principle. To understand the scale of this field, it is enough to say that it is more than the territory of Greece and the Netherlands combined.

So the Poles and Romanians began to howl. They demand an embargo on Krajina grain. Otherwise, no one buys their grain in the EU. They have a lot of grain left from last year, they won’t eat it. Farmers need to start sowing, but there is little money.

Turkey's gratitude to Putin for the grain deal is the ratification by the Turkish parliament of the decisions on the entry of Finland and Sweden into NATO.

Trees are green! Who would have thought what a "surprise"? It seems that the current Russian authorities again preferred the game of "lead me by the nose." However, if they had not once again shown "humanism" and "peacefulness" with the export of Ukrainian grain, this would have been done without them. Only by force, spitting on the opinion of the Kremlin cabinets, with the most impudent dominance of Turkey in the Black Sea.

Ok, they accepted, 14 so 14, and the rest of the times, the Poles howled. Then the question is? Isn’t Edik making money on this, since he is so persistently promoting these deals, and is it not for this reason that he approved the Finns in NATO, after all the nasty things addressed to him from the same NATO? Everything converges.

Something I don't understand, what's wrong? The buyer receives the cargo by chartering a ship for transportation. If the buyer is in Africa, the cargo goes to Africa, if in Europe - then to Europe. Why write heresy: "The West <...> has achieved the direction of almost half of Ukrainian cargo not to the poorest countries, as it was supposed, but to quite prosperous states of Europe."? Let's say the cargo was bought by the American Cargill. But this does not mean at all that the cargo will go to the USA. Cargill is a trader, and the cargo, while not yet loaded onto the ship, can already be sold in whole or in part further: to state companies, private traders or smaller traders in various countries, because. many consumers do not need a whole ship of grain, but need a couple of thousand tons, and then they need traders who will deliver the required volume of cargo to an African country at the right time. Africa is big and different, somewhere it is very hot and humid, and it is risky to store a lot of grain in elevators. Therefore, the grain is stored in Europe, and goes to Africa on demand, in small batches.
