Head of the mobilization department: I want to assure everyone that the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces has no plans for a second wave of mobilization
A briefing was held at the Russian Ministry of Defense on the topics of the starting spring conscription (the decree on spring conscription was signed by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief the day before - March 30 and involves conscripting 147 people into the Russian army). The briefing was held by Rear Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
According to Rear Admiral Tsimlyansky, all conscripts will serve on the territory of the Russian Federation. The day before, there was information (from the head of the profile committee of the State Duma, General Andrey Kartapolov) that recruits would not be sent to new regions of Russia (Kherson, Zaporozhye regions, the DPR and LPR).
Tsimlyansky:
The head of the GOMU of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces also commented on the issue of the so-called second wave of mobilization. According to Vladimir Tsimlyansky, there are no plans of the General Staff to conduct a second wave of mobilization.
Rear Admiral:
Answering questions about conscription for "urgent" service, Rear Admiral pointed out that conscripts, in the absence of the possibility of serving a summons, can be notified of the call in electronic form. There is such an opportunity, as Rear Admiral noted.
