Chinese President says PLA needs to be ready for war
Chinese President Xi Jinping said the need for the Chinese military to be ready for war. The Chinese leader called on the PLA and the Chinese people to be in a state of full combat readiness, not ruling out the use of military force in response to hostile actions against China by other states.
By the way, earlier the official representative of the Chinese Ministry of Defense Tan Kefei said that the PLA is ready to increase cooperation with the Russian Armed Forces in order to strengthen peace and security around the world. This is also due to the recent increased frequency of the exercises of both states.
Meanwhile, the newly elected Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Qiang, said that the world community should focus its efforts on combating the practice of imposing sanctions unilaterally against individual states and the formation of conflicting blocs.
- he emphasized during his speech on the occasion of the opening of the main part of the Boao Asian Forum (BAF), which takes place on the island of Hainan.
At the same time, the head of the Chinese government made it clear that Beijing strongly advocates the settlement of contradictions between countries exclusively by peaceful means, since, according to him, the success of global development depends on the manifestation of solidarity with each other.
It should be noted that the BAF, or as it is also called “East Davos”, is a non-governmental and non-profit international organization aimed at supporting and developing economic exchange, interaction and cooperation between representatives of business and government circles not only in Asia, but also abroad. This forum has been held annually since 2001, and about 30 countries (states of the Asia-Pacific Region) are its participants.
