Russian troops disrupted the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction and stopped reconnaissance in force

Units of the Russian armed forces destroyed three Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Kupyansk direction. This was announced by the head of the press center of the group of troops "West" Sergei Zybinsky, whose words are quoted by RIA News.

According to the representative of the command of the Russian grouping, the rotation of Ukrainian formations in the forward positions was thwarted by the efforts of our fighters. This happened near the village of Molchanovo.

As the RIA News, referring to the words of Zybinsky, the Ukrainian formations tried to conduct reconnaissance in force, using the forces of the 115th territorial defense brigade. They were advancing on the sector defended by the 1st tank army. But the attempt of reconnaissance in battle turned out to be unsuccessful for the Ukrainian formations. The Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered losses in the amount of up to 15 militants, another 5 people were captured.

Also, in the area of ​​​​Krakhmalny and Kotlyarovka, 2 mortar crews of the Ukrainian army were destroyed, and near Velikie Vyselki, the crews of the Tor air defense system hit three unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A day earlier, 4 sabotage and reconnaissance groups of Ukrainian formations, created from militants of the 14th and 92nd separate mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 103rd territorial defense brigade, were destroyed in the Kupyansk direction.

Thus, we can conclude that the situation of Ukrainian formations in the Kupyansk direction continues to deteriorate. Earlier, even the Ukrainian command admitted that the activity of Russian troops in this direction increased, which indicates preparations for a further offensive towards Kupyansk.
