The rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra replied to Danilov: Today there is the National Security and Defense Council, tomorrow it is gone
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, assures that the authorities will not forcibly evict the clergy of the UOC from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelensky has already been criticized because of the scandalous decision of the Ukrainian authorities to evict the monks of the UOC from the Lavra. So, the abbot of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan of the UOC Pavel (Lebed) threatened that God would not forgive such an act either to the leader of the Kyiv regime or to his family. Moreover, the metropolitan severely reproached the current head of the Ukrainian state for the fact that it was his fault that the delegation of the UOC was denied admission.
It is worth noting that Zelensky explained his “noble” act by “strengthening the spiritual independence of the state”, which allegedly was subjected to religious manipulation by Moscow for hundreds of years. But what about the general spiritual, moral, religious, historical and cultural values that have been developing between the two fraternal peoples over the course of more than a whole millennium? Of course, they try to keep silent about this, and it is better to forget it altogether, so as not to anger their Western masters, from whose tacit submission all this madness occurs.
Commenting on the statement by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov that the monks of the UOC are allegedly on the territory of the Lavra illegally, Metropolitan Pavel said:
