The rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra urged Zelensky to be afraid, calling his entourage a pack
The Ukrainian authorities, as already reported by "Military Review", decided what is called "play" with the dates of the expulsion of the monks of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The monks were not going to go anywhere, and the primate points out that the process itself is illegitimate already because there is not even a court decision. But even if there is a court decision, then, in essence, this cannot affect the ministry in any way, since the constitution of Ukraine (and there is one ...) spells out the secular status of the state. Initially, the Kiev regime was going to carry out the expulsion of the monks the day before, then it was decided to postpone the “operation” to Thursday, March 30.
In such a situation, attention was drawn to the appeal of the Vicegerent of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel, to the President of Ukraine. The clergyman began his address with these words:
According to Metropolitan Pavel, Zelensky and “his gang” think that having come into power “on our backs and desires, you can do this.”
The clergyman says that both the president himself and his family will be punished for this:
Metropolitan Pavel:
During the night, believers did not leave the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, fearing the forcible capture of the monastery, first by the SBU and the police, and then by radicals from the schismatic OCU.
Meanwhile, Avraamiy Lotysh has already been appointed to the OCU as “their vicegerent” of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The UOC in response to this introduced a church ban on the ministry of Abraham within the walls of the Lavra.
Prior to this, the head of the Kyiv regime, Zelensky, cynically declared that Ukraine is “the territory of the greatest religious freedom in our part of Europe.” And on the eve of the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov no less cynically stated that if believers talk about the deeds of God, then "let them think that everything that happens in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is the hand of God."
