The President of Russia dismissed Colonel-General Chupriyan from the post of First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation

Colonel-General Alexander Chupriyan has been relieved of his post as First Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, it is published on the official portal of legal information.

The decree emphasizes that Colonel-General of the Internal Service Anatoly Chupriyan is dismissed from the post of First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters. The reasons for the resignation of the general are not specified, perhaps they are related to the general reaching the age of 65: Alexander Chupriyan celebrated his anniversary on March 23.

Colonel-General Alexander Chupriyan served in the fire department for the entire active part of his life, where he came in 1979 after serving in the army. He went from an ordinary firefighter, then the head of the guard, to the head of the Main Directorate of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister and First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. He was awarded the rank of Colonel-General of the Internal Service in 2008.

Chupriyan held the position of First Deputy Minister from 2018 to 2023. In 2021-2022 he was acting Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation after the tragic death of the Minister for Emergency Situations, General of the Army Yevgeny Zinichev. Chupriyan has been awarded a number of high state awards and has a doctorate in technical sciences.

Who can replace General Chupriyan for the post of first deputy head of the department is not yet reported, as well as whether the ex-first deputy minister will work in any new position or go on a well-deserved rest.

He went on a well-deserved rest, well done. Moreover, there are no problems with the personnel reserve in this department. Some generals and colonels

      He's retired, well done.

Did he leave!? Colonel General!? At 65!? Come on..!
      More like "gone".

Here one more nuance must be borne in mind: generals / chiefs do not leave and do not come alone - such people drag a cloud of "their people" everywhere with them. Accordingly, the departure of the general is accompanied by the dismissal / elimination (up to arrest for far-fetched reasons!) of all people associated with him in the service ...

Why for "contrived reasons"? What pessimistic thoughts!) Walk along Rublyovka and its environs, look at the generals' mansions...

A new boss has come, he has brought new people. I got involved in the topic, smoothly pulled everything over to myself, - this is the way out. New people. Chupriyan from another test, not his own.

Agree. When I read such news, I immediately have the same thoughts, from: “I didn’t share” to “I wiped it off the feeder.”

The Ministry of Emergency Situations is a "pier" for retired generals of all branches and troops ..... Hence the "groups-reconnaissance", "reviews-competitions", "academies-sanatoriums" and BMW motorcycles with a fire extinguisher on the trunk!

For some reason, we are always not informed about the reasons for the resignation.
    Bad tradition.

And who cares to read that a person wrote a report and resigned? After all, it was not the SC that pulled him.

I did not jump from Ministry to Ministry. There is nothing magical in the press. Just age and understanding that it is difficult to continue to do your job. Could it be the same too?
Not all officials, deputies and generals only row for themselves.
Personal opinion, maybe erroneous, many, if not most, are still ideological.

No, I don’t agree with you here, now the system doesn’t keep such people, it spits them out, and if they do, they only keep them as workhorses who drag everything on themselves and for themselves and for others, and they don’t become generals.

He became a general under the old system, he didn’t hear bad things about him, he grew up, having passed all the steps from a firefighter, and this is worth a lot, for comparison, you can see who from the current ministry put out fires (no one, perhaps), although I don’t understand how he was able to stay so long in today's viper. Probably trying to ignore all this and do his job.

As far as I know Chupriyan, he was such a workhorse in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

            firefighter, even if the main

He is not a fireman. He is a "FIREMAN". These are different concepts.

As someone said: a general is not a position, it is happiness.
You don't get away from this kind of happiness.

Why did you attack the pensioner. Dedok is 65 years old, what do you want. With his epaulettes and position, maybe there were heart attacks and it doesn’t pull stupidly for health. I earned money for myself and decided to live a little for myself

whether the ex-First Deputy Minister will work in any new position or go on a well-deserved rest.

He will still get a good sinecure somewhere, for example, in the structures of DOSAAF.
In general, without a salary and a personal driver will not remain,
