The Ukrainian press wrote about the importance of the Avdiivka direction for the offensive of the RF Armed Forces

In recent weeks, more and more Ukrainian and Western experts have been talking about a shift in priorities in the offensive of the Russian armed forces in the Avdiivka direction. This, in particular, writes the Ukrainian edition of "Strana", referring to yesterday's report of British intelligence.

Recall that the British intelligence service claims that the Avdeevka direction has become of paramount importance for the Russian army when planning upcoming offensive operations. Firstly, the Russian command wants to prevent constant shelling of Donetsk by moving the front further away from it. Secondly, the capture of Avdiivka will speed up the advance on Pokrovsk and further on to the Dnieper.

The Ukrainian edition emphasizes that the terrain for the deployment of offensive operations is much more convenient near Avdiivka than near Artemivsk, where the main offensive routes run into Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, heavily fortified cities with a large number of Ukrainian troops. To the west is Barvenkovo, which was also never taken in 2022.

If now the Russian armed forces decide to go on a large-scale offensive, then the most logical direction will be Avdeevskoye, with a subsequent strike towards Pokrovsk and further on the Dnieper. Such an offensive route would jeopardize the Ukrainian rear and flanks in the southern direction, making it difficult for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to counteroffensive.

In this case, Strana writes, Ukrainian formations will have to redeploy reserves to create a new front, otherwise a large grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Dnieper River to Marinka and Vugledar will be under the threat of encirclement. True, the Ukrainian publication makes a reservation that such actions by the RF Armed Forces are possible only if there are appropriate forces for the offensive and the desire of the country's leadership to ensure the advancement of the Russian army in this particular direction.

Thank you, they suggested, otherwise we didn’t know where to step. In fact, I think the goal is to move the front line away from Donetsk and thus stop the shelling. I am waiting (maybe in vain) when the population of Nikolaev and Odessa wakes up, so that the Russian army will help them free themselves.

British scientists, British intelligence... Today, British scientists have found a black hole in space, terrible in size. And the world just froze in horror.

Does British intelligence spend the night in the conference room of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces?

Great British intelligence, therefore, does not recognize that "the separatists of Donetsk are shelling themselves"? And our offensive should be carried out where no NATO intelligence suggests and with the nature of deep coverage (I hope that the relevance of the main provisions of the domestic "Deep Operation Theory" is still in force).
