French wheeled tanks AMX-10RC are already near the line of contact

Wheeled vehicles supplied to the Ukrainian army by the French government Tanks AMX-10RCs are already close to the contact line.

Ukrainian servicemen have posted videos on social media showing them posing in front of French military equipment in a hangar-like room.

There is a possibility that it was this military equipment that was destroyed by the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Zaporozhye region. It is reported that up to ten units of Western-made military equipment were driven into an inconspicuous hangar not far from the regional center occupied by the Kyiv regime, after which a missile attack was carried out on this hangar.

The decision to transfer the AMX-10RC wheeled tanks and Bastion armored personnel carriers to the Ukrainian army was made by the French authorities in January of this year. At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron promised to subsequently supply air defense systems to Kyiv.

The AMX-10RC is an armored fighting vehicle manufactured by the French company GIAT. AFVs of this model, sometimes called "wheeled tanks", have been in service with the French army since 1981. As of 2021, there were about 240 vehicles of this type in the French armed forces.

Despite the rather weak protection, the AMX-10RC has a relatively powerful weapon, thanks to which they are able to hit tanks. The exact number of AMX-10RC wheeled tanks transferred to Kiev is not disclosed, however, according to unofficial data, the French authorities intend to transfer 36 combat vehicles of this type to Ukraine, 12 of which, according to preliminary data, are already on the line of contact.

When there will be an offensive of all this motley mass, why not strike with a vacuum bomb, unless of course there is one?

Of course there is, you can see it in the TV show "military acceptance". It can be used against donkey lovers in Syria. Against the Khinzir with their air defense system, our airplanes are still ineffective.

why not hit with a vacuum bomb

There are no "vacuum" bombs. This is called "volumetric detonating mixture" (or "volumetric explosion") ammunition and it is not very suitable for destroying armored vehicles dispersed over the area. Examples are "Solntsepek" or ODAB bombs.

It may be of little use against armored vehicles, but against the crew that sits in this armored vehicles it’s very useless, no one says to throw off 1 such bomb, cover several squares, with several target designation bombs, plus very strong psychological pressure on everyone else.

Well, maybe one or two nearby tanks / armored personnel carriers will burn if the hatches are open. Or maybe not.

Wasn't this hangar covered with a rocket, what was the article about in VO
Military correspondents reported the destruction of Western-made tanks in an "inconspicuous hangar" in the Zaporozhye region
They filmed it themselves, posted it themselves, geolocation is such a thing.

Yes this. You can see the aftermath of the missile hit. In the dismissal of military correspondents, it's time to introduce responsibility for positive fakes.

There is responsibility for negative fakes. Positive fakes are just as damaging, creating a false sense of certainty in particular. From “calm down, everything is fine”, “you are the Ossetian militia of 2008, and the Russian army will come in and do everything” ((c) Steshin) to “Oh, who did this?”, “Everyone lied / lied, but we didn’t knew", "oh, the dill had been building an army for 8 years, but we didn't know."

The video shows a standard AMX-10RCR upgrade. The hull and turret are additionally covered with high-hardness steel sheets up to 10 mm thick, as a result of which resistance to 23-mm armor-piercing projectiles in the forehead and heavy machine guns in the sides (as stated) was ensured. At the same time, due to the mass increased from the initial 15,6 to 17 tons, the machine is completely deprived of the ability to overcome water obstacles by swimming - even the water cannons were removed.
An interesting issue with the supply and service. The nomenclature of shells is unique, they are not used anywhere else. Hydropneumatic is the most complicated and runs on specific oil and nitrogen and is not protected by armor.

Well, two such "cowsheds" yesterday staggered the Russian Aerospace Forces along with equipment, though they write about one that is closer to Zaporozhye. Although yesterday the messages in the carts were about a "hangar with equipment" near Orekhovo.

Hangars are also called pre-fabricated buildings of a straight-walled, arched, polygonal and tent type, which are used in industry and for household needs. Based on the construction technology, hangars are frame and frameless
You at least read the definition of what a hangar is.

[quote] [/ qThere is a possibility that it was this military equipment that was destroyed by the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Zaporozhye region. uote]. This is just about how the European Lend-Lease will be destroyed. Apparently, it is easier and cheaper for the General Staff to detect foreign equipment in camouflaged hangars located throughout Ukraine than simply to hit the railway bridges and the routes along which this very military equipment gets to Ukraine, and then to the lines of contact.
It is now still possible to reveal something, but on the street it is already spring in full growth and not far off the time when everything will be covered with greenery. And then it will be much more difficult to find something

Because in hangars (and in places of concentration) it is concentrated, and does not travel 1-2 units on a piece of iron, or on a trailer. Well, you're breaking up empty crossings and canvases (even iron, even asphalt), what's the point? They will make it in two weeks and temporary crossings will be brought. It would make sense to derail specific echelons and cover transport columns ... but there are none, and there are no “kovpak” to be seen.
