The Russian military prevented an attempt by Ukrainian saboteurs to break into the territory of the Bryansk region
Ukrainian militants made another attempt to penetrate the territory of the Bryansk region of Russia, but it was stopped by the Russian military. This is reported by the TG channel Mash.
According to the channel, a group of Ukrainian saboteurs in the amount of more than ten people, moving in two pickup trucks, tried to penetrate Russian territory in the area of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe settlement of Lomakovka, Bryansk region, but ran into the Russian military. The security of the border areas was strengthened after several attacks by Ukrainian militants.
The clash took place in the Lomakovka area, artillery fired at the violators, as a result of which one pickup truck with saboteurs was hit, the second managed to escape to the territory of Ukraine. It is reported that eight Ukrainian militants were eliminated during the battle, no one was injured in the village itself, and no damage was observed either. There are no other details, as well as official confirmation from the authorities of the region and the Ministry of Defense.
The village of Lomakovka, Starodubsky municipal district, is actually located on the border with Ukraine, from the outskirts of the village to the Chernihiv region, a little more than a kilometer.
It is worth noting that this is the second attack on the Bryansk region this month, if it is confirmed, the first case occurred on March 2, when a sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the village of Lyubechane and Sushany, where they fired at a car with local residents, which killed the driver, and 10-year-old boy Fedor was injured, but managed to escape himself and save two girls.
Recently, Kyiv has been intensifying terror in the border regions of Russia, sending sabotage groups, Drones and shelling civilian targets with artillery and mortars, hoping in this way to intimidate the population.
