British intelligence and the American Institute for the Study of War again disagreed on the situation in Bakhmut
The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and British intelligence again disagreed on the situation in Bakhmut. Differences are noted in the assessment of both the general situation in the city and in relation to the AZOM plant.
British intelligence doubted that the fighters of the assault detachments of the PMC "Wagner" established control over the territory of the Artyomovsk Metal Processing Plant (AZOM). A new press release issued by the UK MoD says the takeover of the plant is not "definite".
The British again declare a slowdown in the advance of the "Orchestra", citing "great losses", as well as the fact that 5 thousand "militants" from prisoners left the Wagner, but they do not give new ones. Therefore, they believe, the attacks of the assault groups are at a "low level." They also doubt that the "musicians" managed to take control of the territory of AZOM, for the same reason - the lack of personnel.
American analysts from ISW, on the contrary, note the advance of Orkestr attack aircraft in the north of Bakhmut, the capture of AZOM, successes in the southern direction and the advance of Russian forces towards the city center. According to a new statement from the institute, reports from Russian resources about establishing control over a larger area of AZOM are plausible, as is the advance towards the city center, judging by geolocation.
the Americans say.
Meanwhile, the "Orchestra" units made significant progress in the city, despite the fierce resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All this is done without unnecessary noise and loud statements. "Musicians" do their job, like thousands of other Russian servicemen in other sectors of the front. Victory can only be achieved through joint efforts.
