Evgeny Prigozhin appealed to the prosecutor's office with a request to mitigate the punishment of Alexei Moskalev for discrediting the RF Armed Forces

Evgeny Prigozhin, the founder and curator of the PMC Wagner, has asked the prosecutor's office of the Tula region to commute the sentence of Alexei Moskalev, who was sentenced to two years in a penal colony for discrediting the Russian army. The corresponding letter was also signed by Wagner Commander Dmitry Utkin and Director of the Interregional Public Organization "League for Protecting the Interests of Veterans of Local Wars and Military Conflicts" Andrey Troshev.
The Efremov inter-district court found Aleksey Moskalev guilty of discrediting the Russian army and sentenced him to two years in prison to be served in a penal colony. Moskalev himself was not present at the trial, he escaped from house arrest on the eve of the trial. Earlier it was reported that the man posted five anti-war publications on the Odnoklassniki social network.
It all started last year after Moskalev's daughter Masha drew a drawing with the Ukrainian flag and an anti-war slogan at an art lesson. After that, checks began against her father, who repeatedly spoke out against the SVO on social networks. At the moment, the girl is in a social rehabilitation center near Tula, and her father is on the run.
Against this background, Yevgeny Prigozhin asks the prosecutor's office to commute Moskalev's sentence for anti-war posts and reunite the family.
The soldiers of PMC "Wagner" protect the interests of the Russian Federation and die with honor for our Motherland and the future of our children. After the death of many of our comrades, their families, wives and children remained. Often these children, having no other relatives, end up in orphanages. We believe that this is a great tragedy for Russia and the future of our country. We are waging a war against evil for the sake of the same future of our children.
