British authorities make conflicting statements about the transfer of Typhoon fighters to Poland

The British leadership cannot decide on the possibility of transferring Typhoon aircraft to Poland, whose fighter fleet should be reduced due to the supply of MiG-29s to the Kyiv regime.

Warsaw expressed the hope that NATO allies, including Britain, will transfer surplus aircraft to the Polish Air Force. Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has previously said that he is ready to send Typhoons to Eastern European countries, replenishing their fleets, which have become scarce due to military assistance to Ukraine.

A quick way to allow Ukraine to use fighters is through donations from European states that are armed with Soviet aircraft - the MiG-29 or Su-24. If they want to hand them over, then we can use our fighters to fill their arsenals and ensure their safety.

Wallace told Times Radio.

In this regard, an official deputy request was made to the Ministry of Defense.

Britain welcomes Poland's announcement that it will provide Ukraine with MiG-29 aircraft, and we are looking at how we can best support them in this [endeavour]. However, no negotiations were held with the Polish government on the transfer of Typhoons from the Royal Air Force.

- answered in the military department.

Despite these conflicting statements by the authorities, the transfer of British fighter jets to Poland is apparently not far off, given the active military assistance to the Kyiv regime from London.

Is there a surplus of planes? Unless they are faulty or exhausted. But such Poles are unlikely to be satisfied.

Of course ... they suck, they put them out of service, in anticipation of decommissioning or modernization ... The Americans have a whole section of the desert in Arizona full of such

The Royal Air Force writes off machines of the 00s with 60% of the remaining resource. For the states were not allowed to expand.

Britain has adopted a program to write off Typhoons Mk1. They are replaced by brand new cars.

The first to be cut are the Eurofighter Typhoon fighters in the Tranche 1 version. In total, the British Air Force currently has 30 aircraft of this version, of which 20 are in flight condition, and another 10 are in reserve.

All 30 Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche 1s will be decommissioned by 2025, although the Air Force originally wanted to operate them until 2040, since the flight life of the aircraft allows this. By 2025, fighter jets will reportedly be write off with the remaining approximately 60% of the resource. According to British military estimates, by the time of decommissioning, the average fighter flight time will be 2 flight hours out of 544 planned.

Official data on F-16s in storage and storage in the desert - 4588 pieces. Probably half of them are rusty scrap metal and shells, but there are still 2000 aircraft in reserve, which, after repair and equipment, can be useful in combat.

It seems that with Ukraine, the West has invented a way to write off old weapons from warehouses with the enrichment of individuals along the way, obtaining political bonuses and creating long-term problems for competitors. I feel that there will still be such wars. Africa, Asia, Middle East, South America.

Of the European states, only Ukraine is armed with the Su-24 ...

All will be passed, except for 4+ and beyond. Candidates: f-16/15/18, mirages, saabs, eurofighters, etc. What they won’t give: f22 / 35, well, I doubt the French with the latest version.
