The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense published a video of his riding on the British Challenger 2 tank

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov rode around the training ground on an arrival from Britain tank Challenger 2 and published the corresponding video on his page in one of the social networks.

The head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said that he "was very happy to ride" on one of the British tanks recently delivered to Ukraine, and also added that "these fantastic vehicles will soon begin combat missions." The Ukrainian minister, however, made his statement in English.

Reznikov said that, together with the commander of the air assault troops of the Ukrainian army, Maxim Mirgorodsky, they "tested" Western armored vehicles supplied from abroad.

According to the minister, we are talking about British-made Challenger 2 tanks, as well as American and German Stryker and Marder infantry fighting vehicles.

Earlier it was reported that a number of Ukrainian tank crews in the UK have completed the training required to operate the British Challenger 2 tanks. Accelerated training lasted only a few weeks. Ukrainian tank crews trained in Britain are supposed to be involved in the large-scale counteroffensive planned by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Challenger 2 tanks supplied by the British government and the Leopard 2 tanks arrived from Germany are already on the territory of Ukraine, as was stated by representatives of the defense departments of Germany and Ukraine. In total, Western countries plan to supply the Ukrainian army with about one and a half hundred different tanks.

. Not a tank armada, of course, but you'll have to tinker with them to control them all ... especially if they are shoved into different places.

What kind of passion do civilians have for military equipment? After all, they don't really know anything. Schmoltz climbed the Cheetahs from a ladder, Lizka rode a tank from the Route, the last first Frau of the Ministry of Defense of the Germans also rode in the MTLB-type airborne squad before resignation.

Nothing compares to that German Lambrecht, who couldn't tell gun from gun.

The first commercial of the Challenger in the 80s was: three Challenger tanks at maximum speed knead the English mud with a snake following each other, while the towers accompany the target despite the turns. So the Challenger's cross-country ability is at the level. and all European tanks. All tanks are not afraid of dirt, they are afraid only of those who are especially gifted behind the control levers.

And this is haunted by the same "walks" of the British prime ministers. Wouldn't you like to fight on it?

They are terribly far from the people ...

A polished, well-groomed Minister of Defense, with a well-groomed beard, in expensive glasses, a fashionable jacket and a baseball cap, rides a tank, having fun.

At the same time, his people are dying at the front, in mud and blood.

Sur. Capitalism. Feast in Time of Plague.

The Americans would have bombed all the trains, civilians there, not civilians. They would have done the same with the tracks if they saw at least some kind of truck where you could put a tank. And they don’t care who was there at that time just driving by.

Well, when you draw a red line, and do nothing when crossing this line, your opponents will not reckon with you.
Someone who would have tried to supply weapons to Saddam in 2003. Or the Serbs in 1999, or Gaddafi in 2011. The Americans would have punished immediately.
And these horses, which they don’t change at the crossing, mumbled something there, now they don’t even talk about the red lines. Probably already ashamed to bluff like that.

Ours drove weapons to Syria and broke off the Americans, after they had already driven an aircraft carrier to gouge Assad for "using chemical weapons." And nothing - the Yankees wiped themselves off, saying that they didn’t really want to, and no punishments followed.

In this whole story with NATO tanks for Russia, the worst thing is that we do not demonstrate our technical maturity to them, i.e. we expose ourselves as natives without science, industry and military leadership of an adequate time.

What is the simplest and most deadly response to NATO tanks?

Teach your ammunition to hit unprotected parts of NATO tanks with 100% probability.

    How?

Take and localize the production of an NLAW shot - the simplest ATGM firing from above in the format of a tank missile for our MBTs (our tank guided missiles have reached the limit of armor penetration due to the limitation of their caliber by the diameter of the tank barrel)

In terms of layout, our new ("tac-scratched") tank guided missile should be similar to the Swedish RBS 56B BILL 2 from which NLAW came.

As you can see, the rocket has two combat elements for 40 and 110 mm. The first removes the dynamic protection of the tank roof, the second pierces the armor with a thickness up to 550 mm. The combat elements are triggered either by hitting the target, or by the command of the detonation algorithm, which sequentially checks the operation of the magnetic, and then the optical sensor, reducing the probability of a false alarm to an imaginary one.

Is it okay that tank missiles are not the main weapon against tanks at all? And ATGMs with armor penetration are fine.
Eo not to the fact that new missiles are not needed - of course, many and different ones are needed - but to the fact that the absence of "roof-breakers" is not such a critical problem. And by the way, even children were called Javelins in Ukraine, but something didn’t really help ...

Well, everything, we can assume that the Challengers have completed their task and can go back. In fact, they should not be sent to the front - after all, these “fantastic machines” can be burned there. And then capture, which is even worse. And if you put it in a warm box somewhere in Poland, then you can report until the end of the war about how they successfully and seamlessly fight ...
