The director of the Turkish company showed a photo of the new combat ship UAV TB-3 Bayraktar

Türkiye is demonstrating further progress in the creation of unmanned aerial vehicles for various purposes. On March 26, 2023, Baykar Technologies CTO Selçuk Bayraktar shared photos of the TB-3 Bayraktar unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UAV) for the first time.

As the top manager noted, the first flight of the new unmanned aerial vehicle will take place in the near future. ABOUT drone it is known that it is a ship version of the famous TB-2 drone. It is planned to be used on board the flagship of the Turkish Navy TCG Anadolu, which is planned to be turned into a carrier of unmanned aerial vehicles after the termination of the agreement with the United States on the F-35 project.

In early 2021, Baykar announced that it was working on a new version of the unmanned vehicle, which is an improved version of the TV-2 drone. According to the company, the Bayraktar TB3 will be the world's first armed unmanned aerial vehicle capable of taking off and landing from ships with a short runway.

The official presentation of the drone is scheduled for April 27 - May 1, 2023. These days, at TEKNOFEST 2023, which will be held at the Istanbul airport, many technological innovations will be exhibited, among which there will be a ship drone. Unlike TV-2, TV-3 has a length of 8,35 m versus 6,5 m, a wingspan of 14 m instead of 12 m, a maximum weight of 1450 kg versus 700 kg. It can also lift almost twice as much cargo - 280 kg versus 150 kg.

In an interview with CNN Turk, the head of the Turkish Defense Agency (SSB), Ismail Demir, also named the approximate dates for the introduction of the drone into operation. This will happen at the end of 2023, Demir emphasized.

Erdogan's son-in-law broke up! At the very least, UAVs still made advertising in the extreme. Money flowed to him in a stream.

Will not go against Greece. Or do you think that there is no air defense. It might work against the Kurds. The Turks did not surprise with anything fundamentally new

If you don’t have a carrier-based fighter, you won’t get so upset, but it will do against Greece. The terrain is mountainous, there are many blind spots.

PD-170 from the Turkish engine corporation TEI.

It is serial and is placed on Anku-s.

It's just that for TV-2 it's too powerful. It was developed under a hundred.

We need to lure someone from Bayraktar to Kronstadt. Surprisingly fast and efficient work and resolve all issues. Or because Erdogan's son-in-law is the owner there?

Well, if at least Mishustin's son-in-law were engaged in drones, I think we would have heaps of them ....

And you know what Kronstadt is doing and in what quantity. There is censorship in their VK, their engineer left the site, all the thugs got it.

According to fragmentary reports, they are already doing something at the plant too. But there is no data from the front .... You also need to ask the Turks for PR managers.

The Ukrainians went crazy for Bayraktar and even sang a song, then the drones slowly disappeared from the sky as soon as Russia deployed its air defenses in full. TB3 and its creators will suffer the same fate if Erdogan does not keep his word.
