Information is confirmed that the assault groups of PMC "Wagner" are already successfully operating in the central part of Artyomovsk. Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is in charge of Wagner PMC, visited the building of school No. 5 in Artyomovsk, which came under the control of Russian forces. The school is located in close proximity to the Bakhmut bus station and less than 300 m (in a straight line) from the district administration building.

It became known that the fighters of PMC "Wagner" took up positions in the Central City Market, which thwarted the enemy's attempt to turn the territory of the market into an impregnable fortified area, from where it would be possible to completely control the central part of the city - in the area of ​​​​Freedom Square, where the building of the local City Council is located .

The fighting is taking place in the area of ​​Mira Street, which runs directly through the center of Artyomovsk.

The very course of hostilities and the places of the most active clashes indicate that the enemy grouping in Artyomovsk was cut into several parts, some of which lost the possibility of transport communication with each other. Accordingly, for a number of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the supply has become extremely complicated. They have to move in small groups from one street to another in order to get in touch with their main forces and to get a picture of what is generally happening in the city and where exactly they need to hold the defense.
