Another train accident occurred in the United States: a train carrying hazardous materials derailed
On the territory of the US state of North Dakota, near the village of Windmer, there was a new railway accident. A train carrying materials used in the production of asphalt derailed. The train had 70 wagons.
As a result of the accident, there was a leak of oil products, the American television channel Valley News reported. According to the American media, 31 wagons derailed. Currently, special services have begun cleaning up the area. The implementation of this task will take from 7 to 10 days, experts say.
The American press calls the accident in the state of North Dakota terrible, noting that the degree of damage to the state's environment has not yet been calculated.
Note that in recent months in the United States regularly occur train accidents. Trains carrying hazardous chemicals are derailed. For example, the incident in North Dakota is already the twelfth such accident in a row. What causes such incidents and why they began to occur very often is unknown. But if the American administration had reason to suspect Russia or China, or other external forces, the claims would have already been made.
In any case, the regular accidents on the American railroad show that in the field of communications management in the United States, things are not going very well. Apparently, the technical supervision of the condition of the railway tracks and rolling stock leaves much to be desired. So far, there is no reason to believe that these incidents will stop.
