The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is completing the formation of assault brigades of the so-called "offensive guard", the recruitment will last until April 1. The newly created units are already undergoing training and combat coordination. This was announced by the official representative of the National Guard of Ukraine Ruslan Muzychuk.
The formation of assault brigades in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which began in early February, is coming to an end. According to Muzychuk, since the beginning of February, about 16 applications have been submitted from those wishing to join the ranks of the "offensive guard." The recruitment will last until April 1, then the brigades will leave to prepare for participation in hostilities. In the future, it is planned to form reserves to make up for the losses of already created units.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced the beginning of the formation of its own assault brigades in early February this year. It was planned to create eight or nine military units: Bureviy, Chervona Kalina, Kara-Dag, Rubezh, Spartan, Steel Border, Lyut, as well as restored as part of the National Guard, banned in Russia and the national battalion "Azov" * recognized as a terrorist organization, deployed in a brigade.
These units are planned to be used in the course of hostilities and in the counteroffensive, and it is not for nothing that they received the general name "offensive guard". According to Zelensky's idea, these assault brigades should "liberate" Crimea.
