Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev explained why the US authorities and the leadership of the NATO military bloc accuse Russia of aggression against Ukraine, although they themselves are directly involved in the armed conflict, pursuing very specific goals and objectives.
During an interview with "Rossiyskaya Gazeta"Patrushev said that the NATO countries are in fact a party to the armed conflict in Ukraine. Western countries have turned Ukraine into one big military camp. NATO countries send weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainian army, provide them with intelligence, including through satellite constellation and a significant amount reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles NATO instructors and military advisers train the Ukrainian army, and foreign mercenaries take part in the fighting as part of numerous neo-Nazi battalions.
The Secretary of the Russian Security Council also added that, in his opinion, Western countries plan to continue to support this conflict until it ends with a Russian victory.
Patrushev stressed that the West is doing everything possible to ensure that this conflict lasts as long as possible, and at the same time does not hide its main goal, which is to defeat Russia and its subsequent dismemberment.
