The National Army of Moldova conducts the exercises "JCET-2023" together with "its partners" in NATO
The National Army of Moldova started today to conduct an exercise called "JCET-2023" (Joint Combined Exchange Training) together with its NATO partners. The military personnel of the Armed Forces of Romania, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the United States also take part in the maneuvers. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country.
Here is how the Moldovan Defense Ministry commented on this event:
As noted in the defense department, they will be held at the training centers of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova (RM) from March 27 to April 7, and their main goal will be the exchange of experience between the Moldovan military and military personnel from the above-mentioned countries, which will ensure the interoperability of troops among the military contingents participating in the events.
The ministry's statement also explains that the main tasks that the military is going to work out are advanced combat shooting and parachuting. At the same time, it is also planned to conduct exercises in the field with the implementation of specific tasks. In this regard, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic informed citizens about the transfer of military equipment from units to training centers, urging them to remain calm and vigilant.
The Joint Combined Exchange Training exercise is being conducted in accordance with the National Army Training Plan for 2023. By the way, the military of the Fulger battalion (Special Purpose Police Brigade established under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova) has been participating in JCET-2023 since 2009.
Earlier, the Moldovan defense department has already reported on the conduct of exercises at military training grounds in the north, as well as the central part of the republic, from March 13 to 17. Then the citizens were asked not to shoot or photograph the equipment so that later the information would not be leaked to the Internet space.
Recall that earlier the Ministry of Defense of the Republic called on citizens (reservists) who received summons to attend military training camps to participate in training, otherwise they risk a fine of 32,5 thousand lei (about 134,5 thousand rubles).
