Norwegian media: TikTok prevents NATO from producing ammunition for Ukraine
The TikTok mobile app prevents NATO from producing ammunition for Ukraine. The leadership of the defense company Nammo from Norway complains about his activities.
This is reported by the Norwegian newspaper VG.
Norwegian media notes that the expansion of the company's production volumes is hindered by the TikTok data center under construction located near the ammunition production plant. The fact is that the center intends to consume a large amount of electricity, so the local energy company cannot provide the defense industry with additional energy capacities. This circumstance frustrates Nammo's plans to increase the production of ammunition intended for the Ukrainian army.
The production complex of the defense enterprise is located on the territory of the Raufoss business park, one hundred kilometers from the Norwegian capital. The company has plans to expand production capacity and increase output, which requires additional energy costs.
But the local power company is refusing to supply more electricity, as the only way to do so is to cut supplies to other consumers.
- the general director of the defense company Morten Brandtseg is indignant about this.
Actually, he has very little chance of achieving what he wants, because TikTok was the first to apply to the energy companies.
- explained to journalists in the press service of the energy company Elvia.
In other words, as they say in Russia, "whoever gets up first gets the slippers."
