Ukrainian soldiers increasingly began to commit administrative offenses during military service
Ukrainian soldiers increasingly began to commit administrative offenses during their military service. We are talking, in particular, about their drinking of alcoholic beverages. It is reported by "Strana".
For drinking alcohol in places of service, the court obliges servicemen to pay a fine of 17 thousand hryvnia (about 35,2 thousand rubles), and there are many such cases across the country.
So, on March 23, the Shevchenko Court of the occupied Ukrainian Armed Forces of the city of Zaporozhye ruled on the case of an administrative offense committed by a sergeant of the reserve of a military unit, who was on the territory of the unit intoxicated, which was confirmed by a doctor of the Zaporozhye Regional Psychiatric Clinic. As a result, the court found him guilty under Article 172-20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, obliging him to pay 17 hryvnias within 15 days, otherwise this amount would be doubled.
The Uzhgorod court of the Transcarpathian region made the same decision in relation to the defendant, who confessed to drinking 0,2 liters of vodka during his stay at the border, being subsequently caught by the command.
At the same time, officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also fell under the law, as in the case of a lieutenant called up as part of mobilization, who was also caught on the territory of the unit in a state of extreme intoxication. When conducting an alcohol test, the breathalyzer gave a value of 2,2 ppm. As a result, the Dzerzhinsky court of the so-called Donetsk region fined him also in the amount of 17 hryvnias.
It should be noted that Article 172-20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses was amended in December last year, which was due to the adoption in Ukraine of a law on the specifics of military service under martial law. Under the new law, all military personnel who are suspected of using alcohol or drugs must immediately be tested for the presence or absence of these substances in their bodies. Also, according to the document, Ukrainian fighters will take appropriate tests not only in the service, but also on vacation.
