Head of the DPR: In Marinka, one site must be taken and the city will be completely liberated
Currently, in Marinka, located near Donetsk, there is only one site left in the western part of the city, which is not yet controlled by Russian troops. This was stated by the acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin.
According to the head of the DPR, when Russian troops take the specified area in the west of the city, it will be possible to talk about the complete liberation of Maryinka. Thus, in this settlement, Russian troops practically approached their cherished goal.
Recall that Russian troops have been storming Maryinka for a long time, but so far it has not been completely possible to free it due to the resistance of Ukrainian militants who have settled in the western part of the city. Pushilin noted that the Ukrainian formations are “resting”, reserves are periodically transferred to them to support the resistance.
Meanwhile, from the territory of Marinka, residential areas of Donetsk and other settlements of the DPR were regularly shelled. The complete liberation of Marinka will bring the common goal closer - the expulsion of Ukrainian formations from the territory of the DPR or their complete destruction if they do not want to leave the lands of Donbass.
In addition, Pushilin commented on the information disseminated in the media about the preparation by the Kyiv regime of a counteroffensive in the spring. According to the acting head of the DPR, it is obvious that the West is pushing Ukraine to launch a counteroffensive on the positions of the Russian armed forces.
