The military correspondents called the disinformation spread by the Ukrainian special services a sign of the preparation of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The misinformation that the Ukrainian special services spread on the Internet can be considered as one of the indirect signs indicating the preparation of a counteroffensive by Ukrainian forces in the near future. The Telegram channel “Older than Edda” writes about this.
For example, in the Belgorod region of Russia, various rumors are spread with the help of the so-called. "word of mouth". Messages appear on social networks and instant messengers that the “brother of the neighbor’s matchmaker” saw Tanks Leopard or Abrams, a soldier in the uniform of the American army and the like, and they supposedly will definitely “go to Belgorod”.
Such stuffing is designed to incite panic among the civilian population of the border regions of Russia. But their even more important goal is to disperse the forces of the Russian army, diverting attention from the main direction of the impending counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian command is counting on the fact that Russian troops will be forced to keep large groups along the borders, and this will not allow them to prevent a major counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in areas that are really important for the Kiev regime. For example, now the Kiev regime is concentrating large forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnieper and Pavlograd, and they will obviously go not to the north, but to other directions.
The spread of such rumors and stuffing by Russian citizens, even if they act from “good” motives, plays into the hands of the enemy, since it creates the information background he needs and diverts the attention of both society and the army to areas that are not actually promising.
