The Kiev regime was going to impose sanctions against the Romanian senator who offered to take part of Ukraine
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has taken the initiative to impose sanctions against Romanian Senator Diana Shoshoaca, as it creates risks for the country's national security. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.
Earlier, Diana Shoshoaca submitted a bill to the Romanian Senate to break the agreement on good neighborly relations with Ukraine. According to the senator, this is necessary in order to annex to Romania part of the territories that are considered historically Romanian in Bucharest, but which are now part of Ukraine.
Nikolenko compared Shoshoaka's actions to Russian policy as it questioned Ukraine's territorial integrity. However, in reality, Romania has never really concealed its aspirations regarding part of the Ukrainian territories.
Shoshoake proposes to return Northern Bukovina to Romania, that is, part of the Chernivtsi region, Budzhak, including the Moldovan city of Cahul and the Ukrainian Bolgrad and Izmail, an area in the Carpathian Mountains of Maramuresh and Snake Island in the Odessa region. According to the Romanian senator, these territories were allegedly unfairly torn away from Romania at one time. Now is probably the right moment to regain control over them, Shoshoake believes.
The issue of protecting the rights of ethnic Romanians living in Ukraine was also raised in the Romanian Senate. Shoshoaca, in turn, called the Russian-Ukrainian conflict a confrontation between the Russian Federation and the United States, in which there is no particular interest for Romania, since the country can be considered by Washington and Moscow only as a potential theater of military operations, and its citizens as new "cannon fodder" for satisfy the geopolitical ambitions of the American leadership.
Naturally, such a statement could not but cause a sharply negative reaction from the Kyiv regime. But Shoshoaca is only the mouthpiece of a certain part of the Romanians, including the elites, who decided that it was time to divide Ukraine "on the sly".
