The frigate Admiral Kasatonov, which was on a long voyage for more than a year, returned to Severomorsk

The Russian frigate "Admiral Kasatonov" completed a long voyage and returned to Severomorsk, to the place of permanent deployment. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

A solemn meeting of the crews of the frigate "Admiral Kasatonov" and the medium sea transport "Akademik Pashinin" of project 23130 took place in Severomorsk. On the shore, the sailors were met by the commander of the Northern fleet Admiral Alexander Moiseev, who, according to tradition, presented the captains with roast pigs, and distinguished sailors - awards and certificates. But most of all, the return of the sailors was rejoiced by their relatives, who were also present at the meeting.

The frigate "Admiral Kasatonov" spent 420 days on a long voyage, leaving Severomorsk on January 23, 2022. All this time, the ship was performing combat missions in the Mediterranean Sea, covering the southern borders of Russia against the backdrop of the ongoing special operation, covering a total of more than 66,5 thousand nautical miles, which corresponds in length to three round-the-world voyages.

The medium sea transport "Akademik Pashinin" spent eight months in the Mediterranean, providing the Russian group of ships with fuel and other materiel. During this period, the ship passed about 19 thousand nautical miles, having completed 118 refueling of ships and vessels.

From the Mediterranean Sea "Admiral Kasatonov" and "Akademik Pashinin" made the transition to the Northern Fleet as part of one detachment, arriving at the point of permanent deployment on March 23 and 22, 2023, respectively.

In a military campaign, the principle applies: “They don’t change horses at the crossing,” especially combat ones ... They carried out their own military defense

I know that there are two crews on strategic submarines and the second crew died on the Kursk. But it happens that a partly mixed crew is recruited into the autonomy for the purpose of training or the best in their specialty. They wrote that the crew of the "Adm.Kasatonov" had some rotation with being sent on vacation from the Khmeimim base. But the backbone has always been preserved.

"Kursk" was a SSGN, but carried a strategic missile carrier.

Premier League, they go for a maximum of 3 months.
Ships unlimited, until you complete the tasks. For a long time Our ship did not go on such a long trip. But, given the location in the Tartus base area, there were respite.

        Weak Marines! laughing
        Joke.

But seriously, 210 days is only 7 months.
        Have worked.
        And more people are working.
12 hours with lunch, without holidays and weekends.
What you won't do for money.

in the sea a special kind of manifestation of human intelligence. called a shift, senior tech specialists have irregular working hours. it’s like they are inserted into a piece of iron and plowed 24/7/360, if you don’t have time to take it out in time, the specialist will be lost or work with glitches)), although there are instances that can pass this threshold, this is already an elite))

24/7 is easier to work than in shifts
            It's called unleashed horse mode.
Anyway, in practice, like a daily walk-inspection (bypasses) and then, if necessary
But if the accident is awake
Maybe the sailors are not so, but I doubt it.

not a lot of other specifics)). The sea absolutly refuses to support human life. stupidly you are placed in an environment where life and death are separated by a few cm of iron. and since Putin, Shoigu and Kadyrov did not come up with a combat sea AI, leather bags play its role. who must survive and, if possible, use all the ammunition on the enemy)), thinking it’s clear who is to blame))

Crews on ships on long voyages do not change.
Only on nuclear boats there are two crews. The boat comes from the BS and the crew changes.

Admiral Kasatonov brought the Portuguese to court for their refusal to accompany him. I was passing by Edinburgh. Was it his presence nearby that made the English hands tremble. The British were frightened, today the research vessel in Edinburgh was dropped in the dock, 14 people were injured, it would be fun to put it on an even keel.

Academician Pashin is a tanker and he naturally has no weapons. The auxiliary fleet of the Navy has practically no weapons.

I don’t know how now, but before, they could put weapons on a Navy tanker. The tanker "Dnestr" in the photo, above with open a / installations, below these guns are covered with containers, at the back there are cargo booms for removing them.

Here, I understand this, the combat work of the fleet. A very serious run. And, most importantly, experience for the personnel. Worthy of respect.
