Loitering munitions "Lancet" are high-tech kamikaze drones capable of hitting their intended targets with high accuracy. The maximum speed of the latest modification of the Russian kamikaze drone (Lancet-3) is 110 km/h in level flight and 300 km/h when diving at a target. The range of loitering ammunition is 40-50 km. Due to the unusual X-shaped placement of the wings, the Lancet is extremely maneuverable and has a significant advantage over the American analogue - the Switchblade drone in diving.

"Lancet" is often used in tandem with reconnaissance drone "Orlan", with the help of which targets for subsequent defeat are determined. The Lancet is also equipped with an anti-laser defense system that makes it much more difficult to intercept or destroy this drone.
