An American journalist linked the US decision on sabotage at Nord Stream with the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front
US President Joe Biden decided to organize sabotage on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines in connection with the deteriorating situation of Ukrainian troops at the front. This was stated by American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh in an interview with CGTN.
As you know, Hersh presented his own investigation into the sabotage at Nord Stream, according to which the decision to carry out the bombing was made by US President Joe Biden, and the White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan coordinated the actions.
Seeing the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front, Biden became worried about the possible future funding of the Ukrainian regime from European states, especially Germany. This circumstance, according to Hersh, forced him to organize sabotage.
It is worth noting that the sabotage was probably carried out in a hurry, which led to certain miscalculations by the American administration, which made it possible to almost immediately suspect the United States of being involved in blowing up gas pipelines.
The information thrown by the Western media about a certain “group of Ukrainians” who acquired fake passports and rented a yacht to carry out sabotage, Hersh considers implausible. He called this version "ridiculous", noting that it eventually disappeared, although the American administration initially had high hopes for it.
The media coverage of the Nord Stream incident that we can observe today is an attempt by the United States and its satellites to avoid being accused of sabotage. However, now the “masks have been dropped”, and it is already obvious to the whole world who actually organized sabotage against Nord Stream.
