Currently, Russian troops are actively operating in the Artemovsk direction. This is reported in the daily evening summary of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is published by the Ukrainian media.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) the heaviest fighting takes place in the southern and northern parts of the city. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported in the report, are facing “round-the-clock and numerous” attacks by Russian troops in the areas of the settlements of Bogdanovka and Predtechino.

We have already reported on the increased activity of Russian forces in the Predtechino area. This settlement is located right next to the highway linking Artemovsk with Konstantinovka, which is still under the control of Ukrainian forces. This route is very important for the grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that has settled in Artemivsk, because it is used to supply the Ukrainian formations.

Bogdanovka is located near the road to Chasov Yar, which is also used to supply the Ukrainian group in Artemovsk. Both routes are currently being shot through by Russian artillery, but, apparently, the Ukrainian formations are still trying to communicate along them.

Also, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recognized the activation of Russian troops in the Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Miners directions. Today, Russian units have taken offensive actions in the areas of Avdeevka, Maryinka, Novokalinovka, Berdichi, Stepnoy, Lastochkino, Severny, Vodyanoy, Pervomaisky and Pobeda. In the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, Russian troops are attacking the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Makeevka and Belogorovka.
