Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov: Russia and the United States now have no common ground on the START issue

Russia currently has no points of contact with the United States on issues related to START. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov.

Speaking at an event held as part of the Valdai Discussion Club, the Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that the Russian side cannot even consider any notifications coming from the United States, because this treaty has been formally suspended, as a result of which there is no opportunity to deal with this activities. Otherwise, it will be a violation of federal law.

Ryabkov also added that the Russian authorities are ready to resume discussions with the American side on returning to START, but only after Washington changes its hostile anti-Russian policy. The Deputy Foreign Minister urged the US authorities to change their minds and "stop playing with fire."

The Deputy Foreign Minister recalled that the Russian side presented to the US government all the legal arguments that served as the reason for the suspension of participation in the START, and the statements of the US authorities to the contrary are an attempt to ignore. However, despite this, the Russian authorities are ready to additionally "chew" the American side the legal arguments for the suspension of this international agreement.

Ryabkov stressed that the statements by the American side that Washington does not consider Russia to have suspended its participation in the DNSV are nothing more than "another example of how the US authorities are inventing themselves in terms of denying what is happening in the world."

Suspension of START XNUMX is an excellent solution. The exchange of satellite information with the PRC is also not bad. Now let NATO count how many warheads they have and how much they have. They are even afraid to count. An agreement on military technical cooperation was signed with the PRC. As usual, Blinkin thinks up fables and begins to fear them himself. bullyIn general, the topic of Ukraine is in third place.

There is no such option in the agreement.

But in principle, the United States, IMHO, is satisfied - issues with the B52 and mines are removed for a long time. Yes, and "return potential", IMHO, unfortunately they have more. And then the Russian Federation makes such a gift!

How old are their B-52s and missiles in mines?
And how old are our rockets?
And how many missiles will China have in 5 years?

          wassat Hand face.
You first try to find out what claims the Russian Federation had against the United States in terms of B52, mines (well, drones).
Then try to understand who generally benefits from the START3 treaty. This is despite the fact that, for example, the beautiful formula "one bomber - one charge" was immediately not in our favor.
And then, then try to answer your question "what kind of missiles does the Russian Federation have in mines" and "what flew in the USA and with what frequency."

Well, so far it turned out like a grain deal.
"We are suspending START3". World "We call for a return to START3". Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Defense Ministry "Russia has suspended START 3, but voluntarily complies with restrictions on the number of carriers and charges, as well as other provisions of the agreement." World - "Well, okay." The topic has gone off the agenda and is of no interest to anyone.

On the whole, yes, but there is one more small detail - the exchange of inspections has been stopped. Although, IMHO, we need it more.

The Americans were a little indignant, but - lucky so lucky - and did not argue.
Not without the traditional, after the wonderful ultimatums "NATO within the borders of 1991" demands on other countries. Only not that they leave NATO, but that they participate in START. As they would write on VO - "France and England shuddered", however, while everything is quiet there.
Well, nuclear tests for dessert "in which case" and a quote from the "rotten US nuclear arsenal" society - by the way, this is clear evidence that VO is read in the highest offices!
