The Kremlin answered the question about the discussion with the President of China of the peace plan for Ukraine during the negotiations
On Monday, March 20, Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in the Russian capital on a state visit.
On the very first day of his working trip, the Chinese leader met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The closed conversation between the two leaders lasted about 4,5 hours. On March 21, Xi Jinping held talks with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, during which they discussed the current state and prospects for economic partnership between the two countries.
Meanwhile, for the majority of world politicians and media representatives, the main intrigue of the meeting between the leaders of Russia and China was the likely discussion of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, during the talks, the heads of the two countries did not discuss the plan proposed by Kiev, writes RIA News.
Recall that the Kiev regime is trying to "promote" its peace plan, which includes absolutely unacceptable conditions for Russia. In particular, the rejection of new regions and the Crimea.
At the same time, the official noted that Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping exchanged views on the peace initiative proposed by China in February this year. At the same time, Peskov stressed that the Russian president had already reported this.
As the Russian leader said earlier, the points of the peace plan proposed by the PRC could form the basis for a diplomatic settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. In turn, Xi Jinping, during a meeting with Vladimir Putin, stressed that Beijing stands exclusively for a peaceful solution to the situation through dialogue.
Earlier it was reported that the West tried to put pressure on the Sea so that he refused a state visit to Moscow. That did not happen.
