Another New Zealand mercenary killed in Ukraine
The number of foreign mercenaries dying in battles in the zone of the special military operation conducted by the RF Armed Forces is rapidly growing. Thus, the American television channel CNN reported the death of a citizen of New Zealand in Ukraine.
A New Zealander named Kane Te Tai once served in the New Zealand Defense Force. Apparently, it was really bad with work at home, or the craving for "adventure" did not let go of the former military man. Kane was recruited as a mercenary in Ukraine.
Interestingly, the deceased turned out to be a "long-playing" mercenary: he managed to serve in Ukraine for almost a year. But in the end, a natural fate awaited him.
Kane Te Tai, according to an American TV channel, became the third mercenary from New Zealand to die in Ukraine. It is interesting what made a native of a small island country located on the other side of the world go to fight in Ukraine. After all, the growth of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suggests that any foreign mercenary will sooner or later find inevitable death in Ukraine.
Combat operations against Russian troops are not a punitive operation against poorly armed and trained formations somewhere in Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan. The probability of dying in Ukraine is many times higher than in any other “hot spot” on the planet.
Apparently, Kane Te Tai did not take this circumstance into account and will never again see his distant country, lost in the Pacific Ocean. Perhaps the fate of this New Zealander, like other compatriots who died in Ukraine, will be a warning to other “war romantics” who are still eager to go to fight against the Russian army.
