The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the impossibility for the United States, Britain, France and Germany to act as mediators in resolving the Ukrainian crisis
The United States, Great Britain, France and Germany will not be able to act as neutral mediators in the process of resolving the armed conflict in Ukraine. This was stated in the Russian Foreign Ministry.
As the RIA News, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the listed states indirectly take part in the conflict with Russia, which is currently ongoing on the territory of Ukraine and the territories that became part of the Russian Federation. The diplomats noted that the governments of these countries supply the Ukrainian army with weapons, provide intelligence data, train Ukrainian military personnel, and also send mercenaries to the war zone. In addition, the above-mentioned countries have illegally imposed anti-Russian sanctions, are engaged in blackmailing Russia's allies, and also demand a tribunal over the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation.
The Foreign Ministry also stressed that the leadership of the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany is not interested in a peaceful settlement of the armed conflict and, by their actions, are trying to drag out the Ukrainian crisis as much as possible.
In March of this year, the head of the Kremlin press service, Dmitry Peskov, also said that the US government is preventing a decrease in the intensity of hostilities in Ukraine and, with its supply of weapons and military equipment, is hindering all processes aimed at resolving the conflict.
