German press: many countries do not condemn the Russian operation in Ukraine in connection with the US double standards in the attack on Iraq

In the attack on Iraq, which took place exactly twenty years ago, the United States actively and shamelessly used double standards, proving to the whole world that it was "right". This was one of the reasons why many countries of the world do not condemn the Russian operation in Ukraine.

The Deutsche Welle columnist (a German media corporation recognized in Russia as a foreign agent) discusses this topic.

The double standards used by the United States in its attack on Iraq twenty years ago are now deterring many countries from condemning Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.

- notes the author of the publication.

He believes that it is precisely for this reason that many states of the world stay away from the campaign launched by the West to condemn Russia and its leadership for actions against Ukraine and refuse to impose anti-Russian sanctions. Among them, the author names Brazil, the Republic of South Africa, and India.

These states not only did not condemn Russia, but also supported it. In particular, the leadership of South Africa has officially stated that it does not intend to comply with the decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague regarding the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The German media notes that, unlike Russia, which had real reasons for starting hostilities, the Americans made false accusations against Baghdad 20 years ago, which were subsequently not confirmed. The Powell tube has since become a household name.

In the entire history of the Anglo-Saxon world, there was only one rule, white gentlemen can do everything, the rest nothing! Hence the extermination of the indigenous peoples of the Americas, Australia, the colonization of India, the opium wars of China, and much more!
    It didn't start with Iraq.

A more than reasonable conclusion, to which should be added an attack on Yugoslavia outside the UN.

This was one of the reasons why many countries of the world do not condemn the Russian operation in Ukraine.
Indeed, one of the reasons. But there is another reason, the main one. Quite simply, most of the "third world" countries have either been in the shoes of Iraq in the past, or in the future they have every chance of being in its place. For the states (and the West as a whole), saber rattling and do not hesitate to send threats to anyone who does not please them.

adequate countries understand that it will not be possible to pursue a sovereign policy in a unipolar world. inadequate hope to integrate into the Western elite. The example of Russia is not a lesson for everyone. the only question is that they want to get into the multipolar world without sacrificing anything, on the neck of Russia. can arrange a strait for them. On the legs too. In the 20th century alone, there were about 100 invasions. The list is circulating online...

It would be strange to condemn a just operation against fascism.

The last five centuries have shown that the Anglo-Saxons are a dead end branch of human development. It is not known whose hands dealt with Sodom and Gomorrah, I hope they burned themselves, which awaits modern ones.

I strongly disagree, since it was the Ango-Saxons who launched the industrial and scientific and technological revolution.

I will disappoint you - your Anglo-Saxons did not launch anything - they came up with a brand for sale, which they designated a non-existent phenomenon. In fact, there has never been any scientific and technological revolution - science and technology developed purely EVOLUTIONARY. In the process of evolution, breakthrough inventions were made that formed new branches of development, and for most of the history of mankind in science and technology, China, Egypt, Greece, and the countries of the Middle East were in the lead. And the Anglo-Saxons came up with PATENT LAW and stupidly stole most of the developments and inventions. Learn the materiel - the ancient Egyptians solved cubic equations at a time when the Angles, Britons and Picts had not yet reached the tin islands.

As if it's hard to solve a cubic equation. The high school student can handle it too. Did anyone massively introduce steam engines before the British? Did you build an industry? Launched the process of transition from manual labor to machine?

Well, of course, any high school student knows Newton's law very well, but the "stupid" Newton himself did not know about it and he had to discover it for him, yeah ... laughing

It was not necessary to drive into your head the phrase: What do you want, my favorite occupant! This concerns politicians and not the people.

Sounds funny, at the very least.
The press of the country that condemned us, the country that supported all the sanctions packages, the country that supplies the enemy with weapons and ammunition, and allows exactly the same supplies to other countries (we are talking about Leopards), the country that was the first to declare that they were ready to arrest our president - and this press argues about double standards?
    I do not believe!
You can't wash a black dog white
Surely there is a second part somewhere, where they say that Russia should be punished
And our journalists, as always, snatched the part they liked from the content...

The German press did not unanimously support absolutely all the decisions of the German government. Oddly enough, there is no second part about the "evil Russians" either. Surprising but true.
And this is what the header of the article looks like in the German edition itself:

In 1949, the NATO military bloc was created, the main declared tasks of which are:

    deterring the aggression of foreign states;

    military protection of allies;

    · diplomatic interaction with other countries to prevent wars and conflicts;

    peaceful settlement of disputes.

And the era of post-war peaceful cooperation of the countries that are members of the NATO bloc with the rest of the world begins.
Here is an incomplete list of countries to which the peaceful settlement of disputes has spread, by dropping bombs, using napalm, phosphorus and radioactive munitions, burying alive and burning entire settlements with flamethrowers, raping young children and shooting their parents in front of their eyes:

    • Korea and China 1950-53 (Korean War)

    • Guatemala 1954

    • Indonesia (1958)

    • Cuba (1959-1961)

    • Guatemala (1960)

    • Congo (1964)

    • Laos (1964-1973)

    • Vietnam (1961-1973)

    • Cambodia (1969-1970)

    • Guatemala (1967-1969)

    • Grenada (1983)

    • Lebanon (1983, 1984) (hitting targets in the territories of Lebanon and Syria)

    • Libya (1986)

    • El Salvador (1980)

    • Nicaragua (1980)

    • Iran (1987)

    • Panama (1989)

    • Iraq (1991) (Gulf War)

    • Kuwait (1991)

    • Somalia (1993)

    • Bosnia (1994, 1995)

    • Sudan (1998)

    • Afghanistan (1998)

    • Yugoslavia (1999)

    • Yemen (2002)

    • Iraq (1991-2003) (joint US and British troops)

    • Iraq (2003-2015)

    • Afghanistan (2001-2015)

    • Pakistan (2007-2015)

    • Somalia (2007-2008, 2011)

    • Yemen (2009, 2011)

    • Libya (2011, 2015)

    • Syria (2014-2015)

Hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians have died as a result of peace settlements around the world.

Yes Yes. And all the other wars unleashed by the UWB are all preventive and defensive. Everyone is right asleep and sees how to attack the poor mattresses. All honor by honor, under the auspices of the UN and with the approval of the entire world community.
