The Polish Embassy in France denied the statement of its ambassador about the readiness of the Polish army to enter into conflict with Russia
Poland's ambassador to France, Jan Rosciszewski, was "misunderstood" that Warsaw does not plan to enter into a conflict with Russia in Ukraine when the Ukrainian Armed Forces run out of soldiers. This statement was made by the Polish embassy in Paris, trying to shield their diplomat.
As already mentioned in one of his news materials "Military Review", Polish Ambassador to France Rostsishevsky in an interview with the French channel LCI said that Poland is ready to enter into an open conflict with Russia in Ukraine, when Kyiv is defeated by the Russian army. According to him, the West should not allow Russia to win, as this would mean the defeat of the Western world. Well, the Poles are ready to take on the mission of stopping the Russian offensive by openly engaging in hostilities.
This interview was picked up by the Western and Russian press and widely distributed, the ambassador's statement received its assessment, and in Warsaw, apparently, they were frightened of the consequences and demanded a refutation, which immediately followed. As it turned out, Rostishevsky did not say anything of the kind, the words were taken out of context and misinterpreted, and so on. In general, the Polish diplomat was misunderstood, he generally talked about something else.
- the message of the Polish embassy in France says.
As they say in Warsaw, Poland does not intend to enter into an open conflict with Russia, and the words of the ambassador should be understood as a promise to Kyiv of help from all allies, and not just the Poles. At the same time, they confirmed that they would continue to provide assistance to Ukraine with the supply of weapons and equipment. They kept silent about the mercenaries, although recently a very large number of Polish "gentlemen of fortune" have appeared in the vastness of Ukraine.
