At least, this prestigious award, which, since the beginnings of the 20th century, has been handed over to the purely elected, has just such a status. At the same time, the Nobel Peace Prize (like the Nobel Prize in Literature) possessed a high degree of subjectivity. Although for a number of years about the subjectivity in determining the award winners, of course, it was, but to a special mass discontent it still did not reach. And the year 2012 was the year when the real storm struck. The germ of the storm arose, it would seem, from nothing. Representative gentlemen for a long time could not decide on who exactly to give into the hands of the cherished bills along with the famous medal, which adorns the profile of the founding father of the prize fund Alfred Nobel. These gentlemen thought, thought, and came to a striking thought: to endow with the status of a Nobel laureate not an individual or even a group of comrades with pacifist inclinations, but a whole union. And it would be okay if it was a union of fans to bury the axes of war or the union of the protection of finches at the hands of vile poachers, but there is no - the European Union. Yes, yes ... The very European Union in whose territory the leaders of the terrorist world find their refuge. The same European Union, in which “peaceful” tear gas, “peaceful” batons and “peaceful” rubber bullets, disperse demonstrations against job cuts, reducing social guarantees. And the same European Union, the streets of notorious cities that Nazi criminals walk around, and not just want, but also don a Nazi uniform, wave flags, cling Nazi awards on the chest for executions and torture of civilians during the Second World War.

Year 2009. Noted as a winner and Barack Obama. Awarded the American President "For extraordinary efforts in strengthening international diplomacy and cooperation between nations." And the actions were really extraordinary ... Especially after Obama won the prize. Real chaos swept North Africa and the Middle East. The world has never in the new millennium stood so close to the abyss of global war. Apparently, the Nobel Peace Prize has become for the American president a kind of pass to the world where you can do whatever you want: from the bombing of peaceful cities to the destruction of foreign leaders under undoubted pacifist slogans.
