The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry invited the governor of Florida to Kyiv after he said that protecting Ukraine is not a vital US interest

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, realizing that Joe Biden might not be elected to the United States for a second term (or not go at all), decided to test the waters in relation to likely candidates for a seat in the Oval Office. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has targeted Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida, who in the United States is considered a likely candidate for the presidency of the Republican Party (almost on a par with Donald Trump).

DeSantis attracted the attention of Ukrainian officials not only by this, but also by his statement that "territorial disputes between Russia and Ukraine are not part of the interests of the United States, part of the interests of the American people." Thus, Ron DeSantis made it clear that if he comes to the White House as US President, the issue of relations with Ukraine may be reconsidered.



DeSantis also noted that the defense of Ukraine itself is not included in the circle of vital US interests. Realizing that this would lead the Kiev regime to collapse, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry decided to include a “mourner”.

The official representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Oleg Nikolenko, wrote on a social network that “Desantis, as a former military man who has been in a war zone, knows exactly the difference between a war and (territorial) disputes.”

Nikolenko invited the governor of Florida to visit Ukraine and "see firsthand the full-scale Russian invasion and the threats it poses to US interests."

Thus, Nikolenko reveals the cards of the Kyiv regime, indicating that today the use of Ukraine as a kind of anti-Russian battering ram is in the interests of the United States.

The press secretary of DeSantis has not yet commented on the “invitation” from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

Recall that earlier the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry invited the new speaker of the House of Representatives, Republican Kevin McCarthy, to Kyiv. However, he said that he was not going to go to Kyiv.
