Zakharova called the US attitude towards the Republika Srpska (BiH) and Kosovo "a split personality"
11
In his speech, US State Department spokesman Ned Price expressed his support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and multi-ethnic structure of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, he threatened everyone who seeks to violate the established order and the Dayton Agreements signed by representatives of Serbia, Croatia, Bosnian Muslims (Bosnak) and concerning the state structure of BiH.
The head of the information service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, published a commentary on Price's statement on her Telegram channel.
The United States rejects remarks by Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik on March 9 in which he repeatedly threatened secession of Republika Srpska from BiH
- he said.
Comparing Washington's position on the Kosovo issue with a recent statement by a State Department spokeswoman, Zakharova called the US attitude towards the Republika Srpska (BiH) and Kosovo a "split personality."
She suggested replacing several terms in Price's statement.
Incredible. Ned, try changing "BiH" to "Serbia", "Republika Srpska" to "Kosovo", the Dayton Accords to UNSCR 1244 and get a diagnosis - a split personality
- Zakharova argues, alluding to Washington's recognition of Kosovo's independence from Serbia in 2008 under similar circumstances, and contrary to the UN Security Council resolution.
