The President of the Russian Federation - to the West: Russia, when responding to threats, will not do with armored vehicles alone
The Battle of Stalingrad had a decisive influence on the course of the Great Patriotic War and led to the defeat of the largest grouping of the Wehrmacht and its satellites. This was stated by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who arrived in Volgograd to participate in events in honor of the 80th anniversary of the victory of Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad.
According to Putin, after the Battle of Stalingrad, it became clear to everyone that the plans of Nazi Germany were doomed to failure. The European satellites of Germany began to look for ways to avoid responsibility, trying to shift the blame on the former owners. Obviously, these words of Putin are addressed to many European countries that in fact escaped responsibility for the crimes of the Nazi regime, in which they also took part.
But today, 80 years after the Battle of Stalingrad, Russia is again threatened by German Tanks with crosses, the head of state noted. According to Putin, Russia does not send its tanks to the borders of Western countries, but the Russian Federation has something to answer those who threaten its security.
- Putin said, warning the West about the possible consequences of the appearance of German tanks in Ukraine. He noted that Russian troops will again have to fight against virtually the same opponents as eight decades ago.
Recall that earlier Western countries decided to transfer German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine, as well as American Abrams tanks and British Challenger 2 tanks.
