Eaglet drone launched from another drone tested in US

The unmanned aerial vehicle, developed by the American company General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, first flew by being launched from another UAV at the Dugway Test Site, Utah.

The company, which is a manufacturer of UAVs for the US Army, called its brainchild Eaglet, which can be translated into Russian as "Eaglet".

The Eaglet was launched from a long-range Gray Eagle UAV belonging to the US Army. First run of this drone was carried out in December last year, but this information was made public only yesterday. According to the manufacturer, this drone was "conceived as a low-cost, survivable unmanned aerial system that can be launched from the Gray Eagle, aircraft, helicopters or ground vehicles."

The Army is considering options for both large and small Eaglets to take advantage of a variety of battlefield capabilities, from targeting, reconnaissance and surveillance to communications and data links.

The company said the Gray Eagle is capable of carrying the Eaglet thousands of miles before launching it.

The next step for Orlyonok is to participate in other tests to further determine its potential, General Atomics noted.

About nothing. That's when you come up with a drone that takes off from a drone, which in turn takes off from a drone and so on a hundred times. Then I'll say wow.

hi With our leaky air defense, it's worth considering! Commercials can scatter guidance and support systems up to the Urals. And we don't even notice...

work out the concept, but do not yet know exactly what nasty things the enemy can do in this way, or do not reveal yet

First, the correct update alert is shown. Clueless or dead end, then you can write soon, but the real ones are covered only in the series and in the troops ... if the wreckage gets to the enemy.
Second: our "ensigns with stripes" still "didn't get" what kind of UAV is the future, or it's understandable, but a small resource to "steal". Otherwise, they would have announced a contest of UAV samples, with the definition of the production base, finance, supply and distribution. If necessary, create a cluster of "People's Enterprises" by creating a centralized supply service for these enterprises. This will also be served by analog substitution contests. Until the authorities launch the people's ingenuity and personal interest, there will be no sense. The thieves' pakhanat, which has seized the industry, is focused on the supply of raw materials and semi-finished products "abroad". There their "minks" with everything dragged away, there they see their future.
