The head of Rheinmetall announced the concern's plans to sharply increase the production of ammunition due to hostilities in Ukraine

In Germany, they were concerned about the shortage of large-caliber ammunition against the backdrop of the ongoing supply of artillery shells to the Ukrainian army. The German defense concern Rheinmetall announced plans to increase the production of ammunition.

Armin Papperger shared the concern's plans for the near future, judging by his words, they are quite ambitious. Rheinmetall is ready not only to increase the production of artillery and tank shells, but also start producing American MLRS HIMARS at their enterprises. Now both ammunition and multiple launch rocket systems are in great demand both in Ukraine and in Western countries.

We can produce 240 tank rounds a year, more than the world needs. Capacities for the production of 000-mm shells can be increased to 155-450 thousand per year. This will make Rheinmetall the largest manufacturer of both types of ammunition.

- said Papperger, adding that at the moment the concern produces from 60 to 70 thousand ammunition of 120 and 155 mm caliber per year.

To date, shells of these calibers are the most popular, as they are used in tank guns and howitzers. Demand for them increased sharply after the start of the Russian NWO. In Europe, they suddenly realized that their stocks would be enough for several days of hostilities, which was proved in Ukraine.

Rheinmetall is also negotiating with Lockheed Martin regarding the opening in Germany of the production of MLRS HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System), so beloved by the Armed Forces. The concern is not averse to making money on the supply of these systems. The signing of a possible contract with the American corporation is planned at the Munich Security Conference, which will be held from February 17 to 19, 2023.

We have the technology to produce warheads as well as rocket engines, and we have vehicles to house launchers.

- added the head of the concern.

The Americans won't allow it. They do not need such a competitor.

So reinmetal has production facilities in South Africa and throughout Europe they can produce unguided munitions for MLRS, that for certain deductions to Lockheath they will start production where it will be cheaper. Plus the production of long-range shells in South Africa. So, Mikhail Anufrienko was right, the sooner we deal with Saloreikh, the better there is before the deployment of cheap production of unguided munitions.

Ours can complicate this matter a little if they completely cut off gas supplies (without energy resources, there can be no talk of any increase in production capacity). But whether the violation of agreements with our "partners" from Germany will go for this is a question.

Even now, overseas companies carry more shale gas than pipe gas is supplied from the Russian Federation. So the Germans will turn off the heating of the water in the pools, but they will make shells. But whether Rostec really increased the production of shells to such a level that the gunners did not experience shell hunger - I don’t know. In front of the Novosibirsk "Sibselmash", which RELEASED shells. I remember they also said about UAVs in Rostec that they were producing enough, and we bought toys on Ali and sent them to the fighters to the front :(((

As if those UAVs that Rostec produces and those that we buy for our military are a little different.

Papperger spoke about the plans. They will not do anything until the state makes an order and pays for it. That some kind of Ukraine is for them, they will not work at a loss. As for shells for chimeras, then
Rheinmetall is in talks with Lockheed Martin about the opening of the production of MLRS HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) in Germany
The projectile is difficult to manufacture, satellite guidance, you can produce it without the appropriate documentation. No one will steal technology there. If they agree, they will unfasten the owner.

Of course they will increase. Russia will help. It supplies metals without interruption, carries out the transit of rare earth metals, and in general is always ready to serve. Deliveries go through Ukraine in transit. Of course, against the background of all this huckstering, the patriotic chatter of our politicians looks somehow not convincing.

Yes, drones didn’t fly around the plant, the nemchura went nuts, it’s a pity that Petrov and Basharov are on vacation, since the United States stepped in with the northern stream, so it’s necessary with the Raismtal plant!

Where are the sanctions from Russia for this corporation, where is the ban on the supply of materials both to this corporation and to companies economically related to them? Or are our managers only capable of harming only their own production, and the guts are thin to fight opponents and competitors?

To build up, deepen, etc., of course, this is zer good, but there is a nuance. Who will pay and how much energy will it take? Here after all and chemistry and metallurgy and processing. Yes, and the Germans will not be able to gnaw a cast-iron shell in a cold closet instead of sausages for a long time.

evgen1221 hi, unfortunately, they can and will do everything, you will see, Germany, thanks to SP-2, could become both richer and more influential, however, to the detriment of ITSELF, it buried the project, remember that they said they say the capitalists will hang themselves for money, and how many imported companies to the detriment of YOURSELF left our market, as well as here.

Their shares on the St. Petersburg stock exchange rose sharply in price, they wrote.
It can be seen that our brokers have seen the prospects and are buying ...

And so, it is logical. Since the age of 14, HPP has been scaring the West to start a new arms race.
And now, after 8 years, we waited ....

In Europe, following the United States, they were puzzled by the issue of increasing the production of shells and revising the amount of their consumption in possible conflicts. The events in Ukraine have shown that artillery works around the clock and in any weather, just give shells.

And after such official statements ... the production facilities of this concern ... Rheinmetall will already become a legitimate target?

      Already have. Our "investors"

Since September, shares have grown by more than one and a half times - our brokers will sell their own mother for such profitability. What do you think - in the investment portfolios of how many RUSSIAN brokerage companies will these shares appear? What is not a legitimate target in this STRANGE war?
