Now in Soledar, the fighters of the PMC "Wagner" have almost completely destroyed the 61st brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred there from the southern direction, which previously entered Kherson without a fight.

Then, in 2022, Ukrainian militants solemnly, with pomp, entered Kherson, which Russian troops had left before that. The servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine then filmed their "triumph". Now most of them have been eliminated.

It turned out to be more difficult to fight the Russians than to record pseudo-heroic video reports

Earlier, he stated that the main task of the Russian troops for this year is the complete liberation of the Kherson region from the Kyiv security forces.

On the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from Kherson, as well as from the right bank of the Dnieper to the left, the command announced on November 9 last year. Before that, the evacuation of residents was carried out, who decided not to stay on the territory passing under the control of Kyiv.

Shortly after the departure of our units, the head of the Kremlin press service, Dmitry Peskov, recalled that the entire Kherson region is an integral part of the Russian Federation.

Soledar, located in the DPR, after fierce fighting on January 12, completely came under the control of Russian forces. Its capture opens the way for a further offensive in order to liberate the entire territory of the Donetsk Republic from the Ukrainian invaders.
