According to the GUSB Ministry of Internal Affairs, “for operational control purposes, the staff of the Main Directorate fully removed official documentation on state contracts concluded by the PKU NPO STIS of the Russian Interior Ministry in 2011 and providing for the development of special equipment and weapons for the police.”
In particular, in the framework of the state contract from 23. 03. 2009 of the year envisaged the development and supply for the needs of the internal affairs agencies of special equipment for a total amount of 6,4 million rubles, the report said. "In the process of studying the actual side of the execution of the agreement, the GUSB Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia organized research that revealed the inconsistency of the products supplied with the conditions of the technical task of the state contract," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
According to the General Directorate, these violations caused damage to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and were the result of abuse of official authority by officials of the PKU NPO STIS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the stage of supporting the state contract, Interfax reports.
