The destruction of the ammunition depot in Kramatorsk deprives the units of two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the opportunity to conduct shelling for at least a few days
On the night of December 4-5, 2022, Russian troops fired missiles at a military facility in the city of Kramatorsk, which is located in the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
The blow was delivered on one of the objects in the industrial zone of Kramatorsk - an object used for military purposes by the Ukrainian army. Hundreds of tons of ammunition were stored in a military warehouse. As a result of the impact, shells detonated in the warehouse, a serious fire started.
Due to the fire, the object burned out completely. For further use, it in its current form, of course, will no longer be suitable.
The impact and the subsequent fire with detonation now deprives the artillery units of two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the opportunity to conduct shelling in the Seversk and Soledar directions for at least a few days.
In addition to the site in Kramatorsk, the Russian army launched rocket attacks on the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih plant in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The head of the military administration of Krivoy Rog, Oleksandr Vilkul, acknowledged the scale of destruction caused by missile strikes as significant. The plant is the largest metallurgical enterprise in Ukraine, it was also used for military purposes.
Currently, the air raid alert is sounding again in Ukraine. Authorities are urging citizens to move to shelters.
Russian troops launched massive strikes against Ukraine's energy infrastructure on October 10, following a series of sabotage and terrorist attacks by Ukrainian intelligence on Russian territory.
