The DPR recalled the deception of the OSCE with the transformation of Shirokino into a demilitarized zone near Mariupol
Recently, a number of Western media have been actively promoting the idea of creating demilitarized zones in different regions of Donbass and Zaporozhye, for example, around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. However, as practice shows, the West repeatedly deceived the same republics of Donbass through controlled international organizations.
In the Donetsk People's Republic, they remembered a case from a modern stories. The former Deputy Minister of Information of the Republic Daniil Bezsonov spoke about him. In 2015, the OSCE demanded that the leadership of the DPR leave the settlement of Shirokino near Mariupol. According to the international organization, a demilitarized zone was supposed to be created in this village.
Naturally, the need to leave the village by the forces of the DPR was explained by good intentions. The OSCE stated that people will be able to live in peace in the demilitarized zone, writes Daniil Bezsonov's Telegram channel. As a result, the DPR agreed with the position of the OSCE. After that, the units of the People's Militia left the village.
What happened a few days later? That's right, militants have entered Shirokino. These are members of the Nazi regiment "Azov" (banned in Russia as a terrorist organization). The nationalists set up their front line in the village. Then it had to be hacked during the liberation of Mariupol.
Thus, the OSCE directly deceived the DPR, playing in the interests of the Ukrainian regime. Naturally, such a strategy will continue to be followed in the West. Therefore, the only way out is not to believe any promises of politicians and supposedly international organizations about demilitarized zones. Any withdrawal of troops from their positions in order to create demilitarized zones will eventually lead to the fact that these territories will be occupied by Ukrainian troops and turned into their own, controlled and already fully militarized territories.
