As it became known, according to Andrey Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR, the Ukrainian command decided to strengthen its forces in some areas in the Donbas with elite units. We are talking about the Krasnolimansk and Kupyansk directions. The reason for these actions is considered to be the fear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of breaking through their line of defense by Russian troops.

According to Marochko, such elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as the airmobile 80th, 81st brigades and the 95th separate air assault brigade are being transferred to the area of ​​​​Krasny Liman and Kupyansk, reports TASS.

We are talking about additional (reserve) formations of these brigades, which were left, as they say, in an emergency. Parts of the 80th brigade in the west of the LPR are still operating.

The recent successful actions of the Russian military forced the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to take these measures in order to prevent success from building on. It is possible that the recent attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break through the front in the Zaporozhye direction were also connected with the distraction from these directions.

Earlier, Marochko reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been constantly making attacks for two months to break through the front in the zone of responsibility of the People's Militia of the LPR near the cities of Svatovo and Kremennaya.

Recall that as a result of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the cities of Kupyansk and Krasny Liman were occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the first in mid-September, and the second in early October.
