Russian troops liberated Kurdyumovka and are fighting on the outskirts of Kleshcheevka on the southern approaches to Artemovsk
The information about the further advance of Russian troops to the south and south-west of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) was confirmed. After the liberation of such settlements as Ozaryanovka, Zelenopolye and Andreevka, Kurdyumovka, which was a key node of the enemy’s defense south of Artyomovsk, also came under the control of our fighters.
In Kurdyumovka there is a railway station of the same name, which belongs to the branch connecting Artemovsk with Donetsk.
The liberation of Kurdyumovka was carried out with the active combat work of fighters from the Wagner group.
The transfer of this large village under the control of our troops made it possible to develop an offensive to the west and reach the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, which is one of the main arteries for water supply to the large Donetsk agglomeration.
At the same time, Russian units are moving north of Andreevka. Our assault detachments reached the outskirts of Kleshcheevka, which is the last settlement on the outskirts of Artemovsk from the southwest. From Kleshcheevka - just a few kilometers to the key supply road for the Armed Forces of the Bakhmut group - the road from the side of Konstantinovka controlled by Ukrainian militants.
Fighting is taking place on the southern and southwestern outskirts of Kleshcheevka, where the enemy is suffering significant losses, which are not mentioned in the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and on the air of the so-called all-Ukrainian telethon.
