Kombrig "Vostok": If the soldier does not understand why he should risk, all efforts will be in vain
The commander of the Vostok brigade, Alexander Khodakovsky, basically does not write about the operational situation in his telegram channel and does not talk about successes and defeats on a particular sector of the front. There is enough such information in Russian publics and on websites without it.
Khodakovsky writes more about the ideological and even moral and ethical aspects of what is happening now not only on the front line, but also in the rear, considering them no less important guarantees of victory than a change in the operational-tactical situation. Such work was previously carried out by commissars and political commissars in the Red Army and then in the Soviet Army. And their contribution to the success of our troops, especially during periods of real military confrontation, as now, was no less important and significant than the selfless and correct actions of soldiers and officers.
This time, the brigade commander raises the topic of motivation, which he considers no less important guarantee of victory than the rearmament and re-equipment of the army with advanced military equipment. It's good when "they inject Robots, not a person", but no, even the most progressive and useful, changes will ever cancel or replace the human factor, Khodakovsky is sure:
And for this to happen, it is necessary that each person in his place be tuned in to the maximum personal result. Only in this way it is possible to get real benefit from any transformation.
Any changes in tactics and strategy, the use of the most advanced types of weapons are worthless if every soldier on the front line "does not understand why he should risk and possibly die." Only such internal goal-setting and motivation will be the key to success and the coming victory over the enemy, Khodakovsky believes.
- explains the brigade commander.
It is impossible to fight half-heartedly; full dedication is necessary. It is one thing to participate in someone else's military conflict, when internal motivation is not so necessary. Everything is completely different when every soldier and officer, rear worker is internally motivated and understands that the overall success of the entire campaign depends on his personal actions and dedication. The military conflict, which has now fallen to the lot of the Russians, requires just such, the most complete, dedication.
- explains the brigade commander the price of defeat in today's confrontation between our country and society with the enemy.
