US base in Syria hit by rocket fire
According to the Pentagon, the base of the coalition forces, mostly American, in Syria was subjected to rocket fire. Two missiles were fired at the base.
At the same time, as the American command stated, no one was injured as a result of the shelling and even property was not damaged.
The base that was attacked is located near the city of al-Shaddadi in the Syrian province of Hasakah. Who is behind this shelling has not yet been reported.
However, some experts link it to the recent Istanbul bombing, in which one of the suspects turned out to have been trained by US military instructors in Syria.
Recall that the United States, under the guise of fighting the terrorist group ISIS (banned on the territory of the Russian Federation), during the years of the war in Syria, placed its bases in a number of northern and northeastern regions of the country, where, by pure chance, there are the largest oil and gas fields in Syria. ..
The US military, just like their Western allies, are illegally in the SAR. The country's government has repeatedly stated that they are occupying forces and are engaged in open robbery of Syrian oil.
The Pentagon said that such strikes jeopardize coalition forces and, most importantly, "undermine peace and stability in the region."
