Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman: We have no plans to attack Saudi Arabia

Iranian authorities have commented on accusations of allegedly preparing an attack on Saudi Arabia and military bases in northern Iraq. These accusations were voiced by the American media, citing unnamed sources who announced that they allegedly had information about "Iran's plans."

At the same time, the “red banner of retribution” raised over one of the Iranian mosques was demonstrated all day as “evidence” of the so-called evil intentions of Iran.

A representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, commenting on publications in the American press, said that these publications have nothing to do with reality.

Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran:

We have no plans to attack Saudi Arabia or Iraqi Kurdistan, as the Americans say about it, without even giving their names. All these publications are aimed at arranging a provocation. We don't need it. But, apparently, it is very necessary for those who suddenly started talking about it.

Earlier, Iran accused Riyadh, Washington, as well as the Israeli intelligence services of inciting protests in Tehran and other major cities. It was noted that foreign forces operate through intra-Iranian cells. In this regard, Iranian law enforcement agencies are reportedly stepping up their efforts to identify those inside Iran engaged in anti-government incitement.

It makes absolutely no sense for Iran to enter into a confrontation with the SA. Moreover, both are directly connected with the Russian Federation. USA
very offended by the Iranians apparently.

And the Saudis. They are simply looking for a lead to accuse Iran and force it to refuse to supply UAVs to Russia. And where would such claims come from? Do American elves have no control over a Persian moped?

That's right, but there are some more cunning ears sticking out there .. wink
In general, we buy missiles from Iran (ground-to-ground) We will also test on Bandera. Well done Iranians, they do everything well hi We will modernize, we will fix everything for them And they can live in peace and are not afraid of anyone !!!
That's what the West and other small cunning countries are afraid of
PS The Russians remember the Iranians when in 1941 already in July caravans went towards the USSR with military supplies and helped a lot in the battle for Moscow against fascist Europe, etc.
Something like this is happening again

I doubt that there is something behind the rumors about the supply of Iranian missiles. And if I were in the position of the leadership of the Russian Federation, I would refrain from such a thing, because this may give rise to the delivery of missiles of a similar range to Ukraine from the United States. And why do we need it.
But UAVs, yes - Iran has a lot of interesting product and all this is quite inexpensive, with the Russian navigation unit such UAVs become literally a nightmare for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the infrastructure of the former Ukraine. And apart from the "Shaheds", Iran has a lot of interesting devices, which have both higher speed and more powerful warheads.

Actually, in 1941, the Soviet Union and the British Expeditionary Force invaded Iran (which gravitated toward an alliance with Germany and for this changed its name from Persia to Iran in order to emphasize its Aryan origin. The Soviet Union occupied northern Iran, England - southern. Tehran was in the Soviet zone of occupation, which is why Stalin proposed to organize a trilateral meeting with Churchill and Roosevelt in Tehran in 1943. From there, he had a reliable connection with the active Army.
So not everything was so peaceful in 1941, there were even battles (very short) with the Iranian army. But then the cooperation was quite benevolent ... Unfortunately, they did not allow us to establish Soviet power there ... and our military contingent was kicked out of there under the threat of a nuclear bombardment. But that was after the end of WWII.
I served on the border with Iran.
And now we have a strategic military-political alliance with Iran. But everything now depends on how Russia ends the conflict in the former Ukraine. They are looking for a union with a winner.

it is important for both us and Iran to keep calm in the Caucasus and prevent the expansion of Turkey’s influence with England, the goals more than converge, so why not cooperate

All said correctly. Only P-Soviet bases can attack, maybe on Saudi territory. Only the Saudis are not there, and the velvets have already got everyone there. I would not even be surprised if there is an agreement between the Iranians and the Saudis on this issue.

Another stuffing against Iran, because the bastards are pissed off that in the Muslim world they can agree and unite against the United States. And the Saudis want to be reminded of what kind of "security" they pay the states for and how fragile it is. In general, UWB is in their repertoire .

Well...then if the US doesn't get its way, we'll see a US-instigated false flag attack against Saudi Arabia, blaming Iran for something it didn't do. Anyone who knows how the United States works will not seem strange at all. In the US, everything is as usual.
